The Hillhead 2020 exhibition, scheduled to take place on 23rd June, was forced to surrender to the COVID-19 pandemic and has been pushed back a year.
However, with the clever use of technology and video production, on 23rd June, the Diggers and Dozers team presented their very own Hillhead (almost) LIVE. The event, which was livestreamed on social media, saw more than 28,000 people from around the world through its gates on Instagram alone.
The event was the brainchild of Mark Anthony founder of Demolition News and Diggers and Dozers alongside the rest of the dream team which are Content with Media’s Peter Haddock, Earthmovers Digger Man Blog Nick Drew and highly skilled videographer, Fred Anthony.
The video extravaganza was an immense achievement and one that the Diggers and Dozers team should be rightly proud of, whilst it was never meant to be a replacement for a live show, it was a great achievement demonstrating the latest digital technology at its very best.

Plantworx also had to postpone due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The show has now been moved to June 2022 – which maintains the two-year exhibition cycle with the Hillhead event. The Plantworx team will be embracing the latest in digital media in the run up to 2022.
